<description>Hi Monica, just finished reading this post you made giving an account of your life as a transexual. Parallels mine in many ways, as you can imagine...being a transexual myself. Had heard the name Monica Helms for quite a while, without making the connection with why your name kept popping up...sort of out of the loop, when it comes to news. I have a question for you...I was honorably generally discharged from the army after just 4.5 months in 1971, the only reason I can find in my medical records is that I was a suspected &quot;homo-sexual&quot;, although what I actually am is a transexual. My question is, does this in anyway make me eligible for veteran&#039;s disability, and if so...who would I contact first?

I loved your post, and hope to look more into it when I buy my new computer next month, as I am computerless at the time...thank you for your post.
