Although their stranglehold on the rebubbican wing of the g.o.p. remains in tact [witness the adulation of the biggest joke of the recent campaign ... sarah palin] at the "base" [isn't that APPROPRIATE] level, it appears that the "REAL AMERICA" has finally and irrevocably caught on and the "amerikan taliban" with its ayatollahs robertson and dobson, et al, will no longer control the National agenda ... HOPE SPRING ETERNAL ... that this is permanent. What is really scary is the fact of the pervasive inroads they have made into the military at all levels, including USAFA and USNA in addition to USMA, not to mention paramilitary groups such as Blackwater and the highest levels of the chain of command ... if you are truly interested, I completely recommend a thorough and complete reading of the site , one of the few -and to my mind- the most effective in drawing attention to the continuing loss of our Constitutional rights. If you were scared of the "fifth column" before, BE AFRAID, BE VERY AFRAID ... IT CAN HAPPEN HERE !
