"Since then, Mick Andoso has had nothing but scorn and disrespect by many VA personnel."

I did not say that. It is the Air Force personnel I have had problems with. The VA, as I have stated many times, have been nothing but kind and respectlful. I love my primary care doctor and would not trade her for the Surgeon General.

Monica, I was pleased to see these two articles in the Tucson paper this past week. Slowly but surely the transgender community is gaining the positive media exposure that we need in order to create public awareness and education of our specific issues.

Just wanted to say thank you for the follow-up you are doing with this, contacting the people and agencies of importance, that can ultimately make or break policies. You are active in helping the trans community, and it's people like you that deserve major kudos!

You rock!

Both articles were great, as was your and Erin's responses to many of those actually willing to reason and debate in the comments section. You all did very well in proving your point, and the ignorant did a great job at displaying their shameful ignorance.

Well done!
